Bullet that orphaned Bangabandhu’s daughters, also widowed Khaleda Zia: Obaidul Quader
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said, the history never forgives anyone. The bullet which orphaned Bangabandhu’s two daughters also widowed Begum Khaleda Zia. This is the outcome of betrayal.
Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, came up with the remark while speaking virtually as a chief guest at the Triennial council of Noakhali Sadar Upazila unit of Awami League on Tuesday.
“No one can escape the court’s judgment. The death penalties of many criminals have been executed. Those who are absconding, will also be nabbed and the punishment will be executed,” Quader said.
“The most ruthless 1975 assassination in the history was committed within a glimpse of an eye. Khandaker Mushtaq is the Mir Zafar of Palasi. The Army chief Zia was involved in the Bangabandhu assassination like Palasi’s army commander Latif. The history is very cruel. Zia could not live.”
Blaming BNP leaders including Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir for hatching conspiracy he said, “One thing you will keep in mind. We will reply to their conspiracy through our works. People are with us.”
“Wearing a Mujib Coat doesn’t make anyone a Mujib soldier. Killer Mushtaq also wore Mujib Coat. The betrayers of 1975 also wore. If you want to be a soldier of Mujib, you have to follow his ideals,” Quader told to AL leaders and activists.
