‘Butcher’ Jihad cut Member of Parliament Anar’s body into 80 pieces for 5,000 rupees

In a bid to vanish all the evidence, the body of Jhenidah-4 constituency’s MP Anwarul Azim Anar was cut into 80 pieces after separating the bones and flesh.

For this work, butcher Jihad received Rs. 5,000. Jihad arrested in connection with the murder stated this to Indian investigators.

According to the news reports published in a number of Indian newspapers, the investigators in Kolkata think that it would now be more difficult to recover the pieces of MP Anwarul Azim’s body. It is being anticipated that many of the pieces have already been eaten by some animals.

The Kolkata investigation team says that Jihad was given Rs 5,000. Anwarul’s body was cut into 80 pieces after the murder. The head was completely smashed, while meats were mixed with turmeric after separating from bones. Then the body pieces were dumped into different water bodies. So, investigators think it will be very difficult to find out the body pieces.

On May 12 last, MP Anar went to Kolkata crossing the Darshana-Gede border for medical treatment. He got into the house of his Indian friend Gopal Biswas’ home in North Kolkata of West Bengal. On the following day, his friend Akhtaruzzaman Shahin called him at a rented flat at Sanjeeva Gardens at New Town area for a business meeting where Anar was subsequently brutally murdered as per the plan hatched by Shahin, Tanveer and other unidentified absconding accused.
