Raveena Tandon turns 48, says she has done everything in her career
Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon turns 48 on Wednesday, October 26. She has always impressed the viewers with her versatile acting chops. Be it ‘ Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi or ‘ Aranyak ‘, Raveena never misses out on impressing her fans.
On her special day, Raveena said that she loves being the object of desire but what she really always wanted was a happy family.
“Being an object of desire and all that jazz is all very fine. But I’ve seen how happy my mother is with my father. I want that for myself,” she said.
While talking to the ETimes, an Indian newspaper, she said, “Career-wise, I’ve done it all. Now I look for roles that will challenge me as an actress. Being a wife and mother gives me so much peace from within. I think this is what I always wanted. I couldn’t have asked for more.”
For the uninitiated, Raveena adopted two daughters, Pooja and Chaya when she was just 21 years old in 1995. She was a single mother back then. The actress is married to Anil Thadani and has two kids with him, daughter Rasha and son Ranbirvardhan.
In the meantime, Raveena Tandon recently appeared in the pan-Indian movie `KGF-chapter 2’ with actors Yash from the south and Sanjay Dutt.
She is going to be seen very soion in ‘Ghudchadi’ which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthaan, and Kushali Kumar in significant roles. Raveen also has Arbaaz Khan’s forthcoming social drama movie ‘Patna Shukla’. The film also stars Satish Kaushik, Manav Vij, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Jatin Goswami, and Anushka Kaushik.
Raveena Tandon has also been named Maharashtra’s Wildlife Goodwill Ambassador. The acress described it as an honour to serve as the wildlife goodwill ambassador and said, “Honoured to join hands with Maharashtra Forest Department as the Wildlife Goodwill Ambassador. The mission is to work to sustain the natural world for the benefit of people and nature. I am grateful for this platform and cannot wait to get to work with these dedicated & passionate individuals.”
Tandon debuted with the film Patthar ke Phool (1991) which was a hit; she received the Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year for her performance.
In 1994, several films starring were box office hits like Mohra, Dilwale and Laadla.Her career was back on track with hit films such as Khiladiyan ka Khiladi (1996) and Ziddi (1997) opposite Sunny Deol become the blockbuster hit of that year.
