Rupali Bank has run a campaign in Pirojpur to raise awareness on remittance as the state-run organization provides 1 percent additional to 2 percent incentive from government
Under itiative of Barisal zonal office, Rupali Bank made a motorbike rally in the town followed by leaflet distribution in markets recently.
Rupali Bank Barisal zonal manager Rokonuzzaman was the chief guest at the campeign in overall management of Hularhat branch manager Md Mizanur Rahman.
Besides, branch managers and officers of all branches of Rupali Bank in Pirojpur and Jhalakathi were present in the programme.
The government introduced 2 percent incentive on inward remittances to inspire to mitigate the burden of increased expenses in sending foreign remittances and encourage bringing in foreign remittances through legal channel.
