There will be no annual examination till third class

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Mani said, there will be no annual examination till third class.

He made the remarks in the conference room of the secretariat on Monday (September 13).

The education minister said there would be no examinations till the third class, which the prime minister had earlier approved. The new curriculum has been finalized and approved again by the Prime Minister. So from now on there will be no exams till third class.

Dipu Mani said that in the outline of the new curriculum, there will be no science, humanities and commerce departments in the ninth-tenth classes. Everyone should read the same subject. There is no annual examination till the third class. The entire curriculum will be implemented by 2025.

He said that from 2023 onwards, there will be no Class 5 Primary Education Completion (PEC) and 8th Class Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations. Students will be promoted to sixth class through interim examinations.

The education minister said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has approved the draft of the revised curriculum. A revised curriculum has been formulated with the provision of completion of lessons in the classroom.
