Mamata Wins Bhabanipur Bypoll With Record Margin Of 58,000 Votes

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s victory in the Bhabanipur by-election in West Bengal has been confirmed. According to the latest results, she lost to rival BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal by a huge margin of 58,832 votes. Through this, the Trinamool leader scored a hat trick of victory in Bhabanipur.

Her winning margin was 54,213 in 2011 and 25,301 in 2016. Banerjee had to win this by-election to continue as the chief minister, as she did not win from the Nandigram constituency in the March-April Assembly general elections.

Claiming that Mamata is in the heart of the people of Bhabanipur, he said, “As the number of counts increases, you will see where the fruit goes.” The leader will win by a margin of 50-60 thousand votes. ‘
