‘Vaccines bought from India to start coming in next month’

Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka Vikram Doraiswamy has said that vaccines bought from India will start arriving within the next month.

He made the remarks in an interview with a private television station on Monday (October 11th).

Regarding the 1 million vaccines that came to Bangladesh from India last Saturday (October 9), the Indian High Commissioner said, “We said that if we start vaccinating, Bangladesh will be the first to get vaccinated.” We kept our word. Ticker shipments from India will start arriving within the next month.

Welcoming the tourists of Bangladesh in reply to a question, he said that Indian tourist visa is being introduced for all from November 15. And you will not need any quarantine to go to India.

In response to another question, Vikram Doraiswamy said, “We are happy that Bangladesh has brought vaccines from Kovacs and other countries.”
