Bangladesh’s deficit in corona:
IEDCR’s advisor in this regard, said. Mostaq Hossain says, “Initially, there was a shortage of medical services.Although the epidemic in Bangladesh has not yet reached a dangerous stage, there is still a possibility. So the deficit should be filled. ”
According to the World Meter, which provides global data on corona virus, Bangladesh is currently ranked 16th in the world in the list of corona cases.
According to the government of Bangladesh, on 15th July, there were 2,525 people in quarantine who were infected with corona. After that it went down a bit but on 11 August it went up again. It is seen that the number of infected people in the quarantine is 2,864.
The World Health Organization has presented the data of Bangladesh from March 8 to August 3. As can be seen, the number of deaths is decreasing every week, recovery is increasing, but the number of victims is on the rise.
Experts say it would have been possible to reduce the number of infections if corona testing had been done earlier.
The founder of the Public Health Center Dr. Jafrullah blamed the government. He said, “The public health center was the first in Bangladesh to discover the corona test worm. But for various reasons we were not approved. Corona could be detected with this worm in a short time. In this way, if the infected patient was taken in quick isolation, others would not be affected by his touch. But the government did not approve. It was important to take initiative thinking of the people. ”
What else to do to deal with Corona:
IEDCR advisor, said. Mostaq Hossain says,”Such epidemics have to be dealt with by everyone. At the moment, the government should put the technical institutes at the center and implement their plans. Of course, the opinion of technical people should be taken into consideration and planning should be done by looking at various scientific data.Only then will it be possible to fill the gaps. With that, Bangladesh will be able to achieve more success in dealing with Corona. ”
