S’ganj AL leader died of stroke, no link to council: Quader

Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister said, “Azmal died of a stroke. His demise has no link to the party’s council.”

Mentioning the journalists as friend Obaidul Quader said, “If you report news unknowingly, if anyone dies during the council it must have the proof. He suffered a stroke, you (journalists) please make an inquiry.”

“A trivial incident occurred centering our council. The rebels were sitting on the stage. However, the council ended peacefully. In the morning, we saw the news outlets reported death of one person. And as it was a published on the cover page. However, no such incident occurred around the conference venue,” Quader said.

 “Azmal Hossain is a Dubai expat. He came home which is situated far from the conference venue. He was not even around the council.”

Referring to six other district councils Quader said, “Have you heard any clash during these councils? One council in Cumilla, where untoward incidents occurred far from the venue. But no clashes took place. The journalists should look into all the incidents.
