Chris survives drowning in Buriganga River, ‘Extraction-2’ is coming

The second installment is being made after the enviable success of the Hollywood movie ‘Extraction’. Netflix authorities announced on Saturday that ‘Extraction-2’ is coming soon. It has also been said that in the last scene of ‘Extraction’, the character of Tyler who fell in Dhaka’s Buriganga River did not die. He will also be seen in ‘Extraction Two’.

Netflix shared a teaser of Extraction 2. The teaser saw a few clips from the first movie. The teaser began with the first part’s end. Chris Hemsworth as Tyler falls off a bridge in Bangladesh after being shot by several bullets. as he falls, a voiceover by Rudhraksh Jaiswal playing Ovi Mahajan says, “Tyler, you drown not by falling into the river but by staying submerged in it.” Tyler then wakes up and swims.

Hemsworth will reteam on the follow-up film with director Sam Hargrave, as well as producers Joe and Anthony Russo.

The original action-thriller penned by Joe Russo was based on the graphic novel Ciudad, which he created with Ande Parks, Fernando León González, Eric Skillman and his brother, Anthony Russo. It followed Rake’s efforts to rescue Ovi Mahajan (Rudhraksh Jaiswal)—the son of an Indian crime lord—and watched as his mission went awry, as he was double-crossed.

The non-stop action movie ‘Extraction’ was released on Netflix in April 2020. Where it is shown, a mercenary Black Ops soldier came on a mission to rescue the son of an Indian drug lord who was abducted in Dhaka. One rescue operation after another continued to rescue the boy. At one time the whole of Dhaka was locked down.

 Extraction became the most-watched Netflix movie of all time upon its debut, pulling in 99M households worldwide in its first four weeks on the streamer.

However, it could not be confirmed whether there is a story of Bangladesh in its sequel like ‘Extraction’.
