Bangladesh wins 2 fights in South Asian Pro Boxing
Bangladesh has made a remarkable achievement in “The Ultimate Glory – South Asian Pro-Boxing Fight Night,” one of the first of its kind in Bangladesh, by winning two fights out of three.
In three international fights, Bangladesh’s pro-boxer Mohammed Al Amin and lightweight champion Sur Krishna Chakma knocked out respectively Nepal’s welterweight champion, also six-time national champion Bharat Chand and lightweight champion, also five-time national champion Mahendra Bahadur Chad while India’s junior cruiserweight champion Harsh Gill out Bangladesh’s cruiserweight champion Hira Mia.
The winners of the three fights got Tk20,000 each as prize money while 11 local boxers got Tk5,000 each as purse money.
The Pro-Fight Night was held with the top six boxers from Bangladesh, India, and Nepal.
