Pakistan thrash WI by 120 runs; gain unassailable 2-0 lead in 3-match series

Under the leadership of Babar Azam, Pakistan continues to perform brilliantly. The team defeated West Indies by a huge margin of 120 runs in the second ODI (PAK vs WI). With this, the team has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. The team captured the 10th consecutive bilateral ODI series against the West Indies. Playing first in the match, Pakistan scored 275 for 8 wickets. Apart from Babar, Imam-ul-Haq scored a half-century. In reply, the West Indies team was reduced to 155 runs in 32.2 overs. Shemrah Brooks scored 42 runs. For Pakistan, left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz took 4 wickets for 19 runs in 10 overs. This is his best performance of ODI. Mohammad Wasim also got 3 wickets. The final match of the series will be played on June 12.

Chasing the target, West Indies did not have a good start. Shai Hope became the victim of fast bowler Shaheen Afridi in the first over. He scored 4 runs. After this, Shemrah Brooks and Kyle Meyers took charge of the team by sharing 67 runs for the second wicket. Meyers was dismissed for 33 runs off 25 balls. He hit 4 fours and 2 sixes. Hussain and Joseph played 41 balls

Brooks fell victim to Nawaz after scoring 42 off 56 balls. He hit 4 fours and a six. Romaria Shepherd was dismissed by leg-spinner Shadab Khan for one run. The team lost 7 wickets in 120 balls and its defeat was confirmed. But after this Akil Hossain and Alzarri Joseph added 25 runs in 41 balls to prevent the fall of wickets. Babar and Imam’s half century

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat. Fakhar Zaman could only score 17 runs. Imam-ul-Haq scored 72 runs in 72 balls. Hit 6 fours. Whereas Babar Azam scored 77 runs in 93 balls.
