Popular Bengali actress Aindrila Sharma passed away on Sunday after suffering multiple cardiac arrests.
She was aged 24 at the time of her death.
Aindrila suffered multiple cardiac arrests on Tuesday and was given Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at the Kolkata hospital where she breathed her last.
Sharma was admitted on November 1 after she suffered a brain stroke. She suffered from intracranial haemorrhage and underwent left frontotemporoparietal de-compressive craniotomy surgery.
As per Anandabazar.com, Aindrila’s CT scan reports reveal blood clots in her brain. Despite doctors putting her on different medications, her health remained fragile.
Her boyfriend Sabyasachi Chowdhury had earlier shared a note which read, “Never thought of writing this here, today I wrote. Pray for Oindrila from your heart. Pray for a miracle. Pray for supernatural. She is fighting against all odds, beyond human.”
Videos of Sabyasachi and Aindrila have been going viral on the internet with fans extending their support and condolences to Sabyasachi. In a throwback video, he can be seen talking about how he read out books to Aindrila when she wasn’t keeping well.
Aindrila is a cancer survivor and has featured in television shows like ‘Jibon Jyoti’ and ‘Jiyon Kathi’, besides other OTT projects.
