‘I was embarrassed, but the airport authorities made a respectable solution’ : Shabnam

Legendary actress Shabnam returned to the country. She arrived in Dhaka on a flight from Dubai on Sunday evening. She herself has confirmed her return to Dhaka.

Earlier on Saturday night, the ‘Ammazan’ actress left Lahore. After a long journey, the actress got tired of traveling and got into some complications at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

In her comment, she did not notice when the vaccinated card was lost while checking in at Dubai Airport. When they wanted to see the paper at the Dhaka airport, I put my hand in the bag and saw that there was no paper. I was embarrassed. However, the airport officials recognized and immediately arranged for her to leave the airport. I am grateful for their sincerity.

Shabnam, who is known as the ‘Poster Girl’ of the country, said in the context of her past work trip in Pakistan,’ to be honest, I could not move much this time because of Covid. Advertising, some interviews were supposed to be done, but none of this was done when Corona’s ban was lifted. I have been staying at the house of one of my fans all the time. In between, Nadeem Beg and Zeba Ali have been seen more than once.

Nine months ago, she reached the Pakistan and stayed at a fan’s place, after which she had the opportunity to meet many friends and well-wishers there.

In her illustrious career spanning 50 years, Shabnam has acted in over 180 films, gaining fame both home and abroad.

A renowned actress of the 60’s, Shabnam has been a part of both Bangladeshi and Pakistani cinema. She rose to fame with the Urdu film, ‘Chanda’, after which she never had to look back.

She had started her journey with the film “Harano Din” in 1961, after which she did not have to look back. Her last memorable role was in the blockbuster film “Ammajaan”.
