Bangabandhu Corner at Dulahazara Safari Park will be state-of-the-art

Dulahazara Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park in Cox’s Bazar is getting a modern look in the two eras of its establishment. Separate parking lots for buses, microbuses and motorbikes are being set up in the Malumghat area of ​​Chakriya from the edge of the Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway to the main gate of the park. Adjacent to that parking lot is a sculpture of Bangabandhu with a flying white dove. The sculptural area is being expanded with a green cover. Flower gardens are being built around Bangabandhu in the spacious area.

Superintendent (Acting Officer) of the park Md. Mazharul Islam said that the country’s first safari park Dulahazara Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park. Rich in the darkness of nature, this park has gradually become a part of the entertainment of this region. That is why a beautiful entrance gate is being built on the highway centering on the park. Road widening work is going on. The two-lane road is being paved with tiles. Spacious ticket houses are being built by removing the existing old ticket counters along the road.

The locker room is being added to keep the luggage and essentials of the tourists. There is also a waiting room for visitors. The renovations are dormitories and barracks. Quality washroom is also being done.

He further said that Bangabandhu is being made to stand in the middle of the green by printing everything. The entrance and exit gates of Bangabandhu Chattar are being expanded by widening the previous place. Aesthetic enhancement is being done in landscape design around the sculpture. Jaysia grass lane is being made. Automatic drainage system is being installed there. There will be green enclosures and various types of flower gardens.

He said the front land would be developed and stone benches would be set up to ensure that pictures could be taken while sitting around Bangabandhu. The project, which started on July 1 last year, will be completed outside the park on June 30 this year.

Dulahazara Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park was started in 1999 in the Malumghat area of ​​Chakriya on the Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway. The 900-hectare park has a large number of species of forest trees, including Mother Trees. From the very beginning, the park has been known to be a conducive learning environment for the students as well as a source of entertainment for the people of the neighborhood and different areas.
